Simulation Workshop on Harvard Business Publishing

The Br. Fidelis Leddy Center for Learning Resources (CLR) would like to invite you to attend our Simulation Workshop on Harvard Business Publishing (HBP). Harvard Business Publishing is the leading provider of teaching materials for management education. This workshop is in collaboration with the Center of Educational Technology (CET) and Harvard Business School Publishing Education.

This in-person event will be held on January 17, 2024, from 10:00AM to 1:00PM at HDR-A, 6th floor, AKIC Campus. Meal will be provided.

Workshop agenda and speaker profiles are as follows:

  • Part 1: HBP content updates and how to order (10:00 AM to about 10:45 AM)

Speaker: Denise Dorai, Harvard Business Publishing

Denise Dorai is the Regional Manager of APAC-South at Harvard Business Publishing Education. In the last 10 years, she has been developing and expanding the education business and the case method in Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Through this role, she works closely with stakeholders and leading academia from globally ranked higher education institutions. One of the areas she really loves about this role, is the opportunity to speak to educators from various backgrounds and learning best practices from them on how to engage their students in this rapidly changing world! Prior to joining Harvard Business Publishing, she was in corporate training for 9 years.

 

  • Part 2: Simulation Workshop (11:15 AM to 1:00 PM)

Speaker: Mary Lou Cunanan, Ateneo De Manila University

Mary Lou Cunanan has a degree from the University of Philippines Diliman and studied Executive MBA at Asian Institute of Management at Makati. She is an alumnus of the US State Department International Cultural Exchange Program and has traveled and worked extensively with businesses from more than 30 counties in Europe, Asia, North and South America and the Caribbean. Mary Lou currently serves as a full-time lecturer at the John Gokongwei School of Management of Ateneo De Manila University. Her expertise lies in teaching business subjects with a focus on Asia Management, International Business and Cross-Cultural Communications. Mary Lou has a played crucial role in pioneering the participation of Filipino students from Ateneo in the X-Culture project.
