Learning Session on “Understanding the Digital Landscape: Fostering Digital Citizenship in Libraries”

The Br. Fidelis Leddy Center for Learning Resources (CLR) will be having its Learning Session on Understanding the Digital Landscape: Fostering Digital Citizenship in Libraries” on April 05, 2024 (Friday) at 1:00PM to be facilitated by Mr. Ricson Que, Program and Industry Coordinator, CyberSecurity, School of Management and Information Technology (SMIT) and School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPaCE), Information Security Consultant, Digital Technology Office.


About the Speaker:

Mr. Ricson Que is an exceptionally skilled cybersecurity expert with 14 years of experience in the industry, complemented by 26 years in Information Technology (IT). As a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (V-CISO), he has guided six different organizations in different industries, showcasing exceptional knowledge in protecting important assets from constantly changing cyber threats.

He possesses a robust academic foundation in Computer Science and an MBA, allowing him to combine technical expertise with strategic savvy. He made significant contributions to academia by creating innovative curricula in Cybersecurity for Benilde, which has helped to cultivate the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

Mr. Que is acknowledged for his dedication to national cybersecurity and holds the position of fellow at the Philippine Public Safety College and serves as a Subject Matter Expert for influential organizations such as CHED PSG and DICT. He is highly regarded as a forward-thinking leader who is spearheading cybersecurity innovation in the Philippines.
