Emerald Insight User-Education Training Session

The Br. Fidelis Leddy Center for Learning Resources (CLR) would like to invite you to attend our user-education training session on Emerald Insight.

 

Emerald Insight - peer-reviewed journals across all areas of business. Includes case studies, literature reviews, book reviews, conference information, interviews, profiles and 'How to...' guides. Other subjects include economics, education, engineering, library and information science, public policy and environmental studies..

The learning outcomes of the session are as follows:
  • Learn about Emerald Insight's scope, key subject areas, and how it supports academic research and professional development;
  • Learn how to use the Emerald Insight platform, such as understanding its features, browsing content, and accessing journals, books, and case studies;
  • Acquire skills in how to conduct effective searches using basic and advanced search features, filters, and keyword strategies to find relevant academic content;  
  • Stay informed about access rights, download options, and any restrictions that apply to the content available on Emerald Insight; 
  • Learn how to use advanced tools like citation tracking, alerts, and saved searches to improve their research workflow and stay up to date on current topics
By achieving these goals, our participants will be equipped with the necessary skills and able to benefit from the Emerald Insight learning experience.

 

NOTE:

  • If you wish to get the CSBLIFE credit point and/or e-certificate, you must be present for at least 40 minutes of the total time duration of this session and you need to accomplish our online evaluation form using your Benilde email address.
  • The session can accommodate up to 1,000 participants only.
  • Filipino Sign Language interpreters are not provided for this training session.
