De Gruyter Online Books User-Education Training Session
The Br. Fidelis Leddy Center for Learning Resources (CLR) would like to invite you to attend our user-education training session on De Gruyter Online Books.
De Gruyter Online Books Get access to over 45,000 unrestricted English ebooks in PDF and EPUB format from more than 18 internationally renowned publishers and presses, covering Business, Computer Sciences, the Arts and more!.
The learning outcomes of the session are as follows:
- Learn about the De Gruyter Online Books platform, including its navigation, and key features;
- Learn about the various book and resource categories available on De Gruyter, such as subject areas, eBooks, reference works, and databases;
- Develop skills on how to conduct effective searches on the platform, including the use of various tools and filters to quickly find relevant academic content;
- Understand access rights, download options, and any restrictions on the De Gruyter platform, allowing them to make the best use of the available resources;
- Learn how to incorporate De Gruyter eBooks into research and apply these resources to support learning
By achieving these goals, our participants will be equipped with the necessary skills and able to benefit from the De Gruyter Online Books learning experience.
NOTE:
- If you wish to get the CSBLIFE credit point and/or e-certificate, you must be present for at least 40 minutes of the total time duration of this session and you need to accomplish our online evaluation form using your Benilde email address.
- The session can accommodate up to 1,000 participants only.
