Gale Academic OneFile User-Education Training Session

The Br. Fidelis Leddy Center for Learning Resources (CLR) would like to invite you to attend our user-education training session on Gale Academic OneFile.

Gale Acadenic OneFile - connects learners to the information they're looking for with tools that make discovery fast and easy. This premier periodical resource provides millions of articles from scholarly journals and other authoritative sources with extensive coverage in key subject areas, such as biology, chemistry, criminal justice, economics, environmental science, history, marketing, political science, and psychology.

The learning outcomes of the session are as follows:

  • Understand the purpose of Gale Academic OneFile;
  • Identify key sections of the interface, including the search bar, filters, and advanced search options;
  • Guide participants on conducting keyword searches;
  • Show how to narrow down search results using filters like publication date, subject, document type, and more;
  • Use additional features of the database
By achieving these goals, our participants will be equipped with the necessary skills and able to benefit from the Gale Academic OneFile learning experience.

NOTE:

  • If you wish to get the CSBLIFE credit point and/or e-certificate, you must be present for at least 40 minutes of the total time duration of this session and you need to accomplish our online evaluation form using your Benilde email address.
