CLR-DA is at the 7th and 8th floors of the Design and Arts Campus. All materials housed here support DA programs. Its book and
periodical collections are largely focused on the field of art and design. It also has a collection of audiovisual materials and memorabilia.
The CLR-DA also features a service area called the Learning Commons, which provides a venue conducive to discussions and
knowledge-sharing.
The School of Environment and Design, in partnership with the Center for Learning Resources, unveils an innovative space named the Material Resources Hub (MRH), a pioneering initiative in the country.
The establishment of the MRH received funding from the DOST’s Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD) program.
Within the MRH, students can explore an array of material samples and resources relevant to their designs, encompassing clothing, furniture, interior spaces, architectural design, and more, aiding them in their specifications.
This space serves as an exhibition ground for distinctive items, offering students the opportunity to experience the tactile qualities of products firsthand, moving beyond mere digital representations.
